Webinar Inside NextGen: Maintaining Archives

01. 09. 2026, Online

On September 1, we hosted two experts from Italy and Ireland for our third Inside NextGen webinar of 2026, featuring presentations and a Q&A with attendees.

On this occasion, we were joined by:

Jackie Crowley, the resident historian and archivist at Castle Leslie Estate in County Monaghan, Ireland. She manages the estate’s extensive historical collection, which spans centuries of family papers, books, letters, photographs, paintings, and textiles.

Alberto Poli is the grandson of Albano Poli, who founded Progetto Arte Poli. The art studio is the guardian of Italy’s precious artistic and handicraft heritage, which follows the ancient tradition of the Italian Renaissance workshops. Here, as in the past, the artist moves skillfully between the various forms of artistic expression.

The session offered a unique opportunity to discover best practices, exchange knowledge, and gain practical insights into the care and preservation of historic archives.
