On March 3rd we held the first Inside NextGen webinar of 2026 on “Gardens and Historic Houses“!

Estates, and their maintenance, are of vital importance to historic house owners across Europe. In this online session, we explored how historic gardens can be better used for research, public access, and sustainable maintenance. We also discussed potential initiatives that could help owners of historic houses unlock the potential of their gardens, such as workshops, events, and projects.

The speakers who accompanied us during the session were:

Lady Ursula Cholmeley, a prominent British horticulturist, author, and the lead visionary behind the restoration of Easton Walled Gardens in Lincolnshire. Together with her husband, she owns Easton Estate.

Isabela Streeter is the founder of Haveli Diaries and leads events at Easton Walled Gardens. She is engaged to Montague Cholmeley, heir to the Easton Estate, which has been home to the Cholmeley family since 1562. Isabela brings together heritage, creativity, and modern entrepreneurship in her work.
