4th Owners’ Circle Congress

The fourth edition of Owner’s Circle Congress was held in Copenhagen, Zealand, and Funen islands, Denmark, from October 1 to 4, 2026.
Organised in collaboration with Historiske Huse, our esteemed Danish member association, the event provided a unique occasion to expand knowledge and explore opportunities in historic house management, with the Danish countryside creating a spectacular backdrop.
Our participants visited a selection of sites distinguished for their refined settings, natural landscapes, and major influence on the country’s architectural history. The Vallø, Broholm, and Gavnø castles, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages, were part of the programme, alongside the time-honoured Kragerup, Holmegaard, Sanderumgaard, and Hesselagergaard manors.
The gala dinner took place at Ledreborg Castle, an 18th-century palatial residence set in the heart of Skjoldungernes Land National Park.
Historic house residents led guided tours of their properties, offering participants rich and meaningful insights into the legacies of the generations-long heritage they safeguard. Additional pre-tour extensions through exclusive venues were organised in the heart of Copenhagen, granting access to rare examples of the capital’s past, urban fabric, and art-collecting ecosystem.
