Webinar Inside NextGen: Filming locations

The “Inside NextGen” series continued with a webinar on 4th March 2025 on the topic of Filming Locations.

This time, we were joined by two special speakers from our NextGen network: Maurits van Helsdingen of Kasteel Sterkenberg (NL) and Clemens Boeselager of Stift Ehreshoven (DE).

Clemens Boeselager is curator of the Ehreshoven Foundation has been managing the operation since October 2022. The foundation’s task is to offer affordable apartments in Ehreshoven Castle for members of noble families who were not considered in the inheritance and it generates funds through forestry, real estate and by offering event venues. Due to its proximity to the media city of Cologne, the castle and forest are used as a motif in numerous film productions.

Maurits van Helsdingen spends his time at Sterkenberg Castle, where he is responsible for the ongoing restoration of the house, its interiors and parkland. The estate has been lovingly revitalised by the Van Helsdingen family over the past decades.
