Save the Date: MetaHeritage Final Event

The MetaHeritage consortium is pleased to invite you to its final event, “Heritage Innovation for Europe’s Regions: Digital Technologies, New Business Models and Sustainable Tourism,” taking place on 22 October 2026 in Brussels. 

Organised in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the event will bring together policymakers, regional authorities, cultural heritage organisations, tourism stakeholders, innovation clusters, companies and researchers to discuss how digital innovation can strengthen Europe’s heritage sector and contribute to more resilient regional economies. 

The conference will showcase how technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, digital twins, immersive experiences and the metaverse can unlock new opportunities for cultural, industrial, natural and corporate heritage. Participants will explore practical examples of innovative visitor experiences, sustainable tourism solutions and scalable business models that foster regional competitiveness and interregional collaboration.
