The General Assembly of European Historic Houses took place between 2 and 3 June in Brussels, with a very special programme on its 2026 edition.
On the first day, our participants gathered at the European Parliament, where they attended a roundtable, Historic Houses as Drivers of Rural Growth in Europe, featuring high-level discussions on the role of historic houses as key economic and social assets in rural Europe.
Immediately afterwards, they enjoyed the official inauguration of the exhibition Historic Houses and Gardens as the Cultural Foundations of Europe, which explored historic houses and gardens as living archives of Europe’s shared cultural identity. Located on the 3rd Floor of the SPINELLI Building, it was opened to visitors from 1-5 June. The evening concluded with a special networking dinner at the iconic Club des Guides.
On the following day, the General Assembly took place at the Hôtel de Lannoy, featuring insightful discussions and an opportunity to share recent achievements and future goals.
