The third edition of EHH Owners’ Circle Congress took place in Barcelona, September 18th –21st 2025. Co-hosted with our esteemed Catalan member Monumenta, the annual gathering was an exclusive opportunity for owners from all over Europe to explore the rich architectural heritage of Antoni Gaudí, while discussing hard-hitting themes such as cultural legacy as a tourist attraction and the safeguarding of heritage.
Among the most exciting moments were the visits to major cultural landmarks of the city, such as the Sagrada Família and Colonia Güell, where we listened to experts in the field of preservation and construction, specialising in these iconic projects. Their talks allowed for an otherwise unmatched understanding of the state of cultural heritage preservation in Barcelona and made walking through the beloved landmarks a far beyond the surface experience – transforming a simple visit into something deeply impactful.
Additionally, we were welcomed into privately owned hidden gems, such as Círculo Ecuestre and Círculo del Liceo, proving to be uniquely memorable events in our programme. The conference on Friday then provided a valuable occasion for exchange and reflection on the highly relevant central theme “Survival of Heritage: from Policy to Action”.
We sincerely thank everyone who made this event possible – from the participants, to Monumenta, to our conference-speakers, to our sponsors.
