The third edition of CliP-ComE’s trainings for Energy Manager for Private Historic House Owners took place online between the 25th – 27th of November 2025. With a practical focus on materials, technique, national as well as European regulations, and the skills needed for successful implementation, the participants received great insight into the tangible practice of making historic houses more sustainable.
Guided by international sustainability experts Gerald Wagenhofer (Austrian heritage advisor) and Professor John Edwards (British building physicist and specialist in sustainable renovation of monuments), they provided the niche expertise needed to provide educated and applicable advice to historic house owners and support the work of lowering their property’s energy footprint.
Upon completion, participants received an ECQA certificate from the European Heritage Academy (EHA). This certificate is recognised across all European countries and meets ECQA’s training requirements for certification, proving your qualifications in the field.
