European Historic Houses

Energy Expert in Historic Houses training in The Netherlands

02. – 04. 09. 2025, Amersfoort

Our CliP-ComE project continues in September 2025 with a training tailored for owners, managers, and staff of historic houses. Taking place from September 2-4, 2025, in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, this free three-day course in English will focus on energy efficiency in historic buildings.

Designed for professionals in property management, maintenance, and conservation, the training will cover sustainability principles, traditional materials, conservation processes, and energy-efficient solutions specific to historic houses. We are aiming to bring together a group of around 15 participants from across Europe who will learn about key European regulations and funding opportunities, helping them advise property owners on reducing energy consumption while preserving cultural heritage.

Participants in these trainings will earn an ECQA certificate from the European Heritage Academy (EHA), recognised across Europe.

If you would like to learn more, you can check the website of the training or go directly to the project site. You can also contact Mr. Herbert-Jan Hiep, the onsite coordinator, at hiep@ivem.nl.
